CNN's crack team of experts spent Monday night clutching their pearls over Donald Trump's latest "outrage"-his promise to actually hold people accountable for the 2020 election debacle. Trump's Truth Social post sent the panel into a [frenzy](, with former RNC spokesperson Madison Gesiotto daring to point out that, shockingly, most Americans care more about affording groceries than the left's never-ending Trump hysteria. But no, that's not enough for the anti-Trump chorus on CNN. Keith Boykin, riding in on his high horse, dismissed Trump's vow to prosecute illegal voters and operatives as if voter fraud isn't something worth worrying about. Oh, but inflation's down to 2.9%, he says. That's cute, Keith, except real Americans are still paying sky-high prices for gas and food while this administration tries to pretend everything is fine. When Gesiotto rightfully pointed out that plenty of Democrats want Trump behind bars, Boykin practically lost it, acting like the calls to lock him up have only been whispered behind closed doors. Sure, Keith, because Dems like Eric Swalwell and their pals in Texas haven't been demanding Trump be jailed out loud, in public, with microphones. "A lot of Democrats say [Trump] should be locked up in jail all the time!" Gesiotto said. "Are you kidding? And again, that doesn't matter, because people across the country who are struggling, it doesn't matter, they don't care. They want to pay for groceries for their kids. They want to get gas." CNN panelists devolved into a near shouting match while debating Donald Trump [pic.twitter.com/hrCVzvSH2D]( - Daily Caller (@DailyCaller) [September 10, 2024]( As usual, CNN's panel turned into a circus. Everyone was talking over each other while conveniently sidestepping the core issue-people are tired of the political show trials. The reality? Voters want leaders who care about fixing the economy, securing borders, and maybe, just maybe, taking action against those who undermine democracy. But nope, to the geniuses on CNN, holding people accountable for 2020's mess is just another reason to wag a finger at Trump. The real kicker? Brian Stelter, of all people, jumping in to act like it's possible to hate both the economy and political persecution at the same time. Well, Brian, newsflash: real Americans care more about their wallets than your network's endless obsession with taking down Trump.
