In this episode, we bring up the latest comments made by the Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump. During a recent rally in Pennsylvania, the former president criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for her role in the contentious 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal carried out by the current administration. Trump expressed strong dissatisfaction about the events that transpired on the three-year anniversary of Afghanistan's collapse. He detailed how the sight of the [Taliban](, flaunting billions of dollars worth of U.S. military equipment, accentuated the catastrophe that the withdrawal had become. He voiced to the crowd, "Did you witness the Taliban parading with all of the equipment they seized from America? $85 billion worth, two days prior, commemorating three years of America's defeat by these individuals." Here is the Taliban celebrating the 3rd anniversary of the withdrawal by having a parade with our equipment while chanting "death to America". As half of American citizens support funding terrorism as we continue to send 87 million dollars a week to Taliban, I just don't know? During his tenure, he highlighted, the Taliban refrained from launching attacks on U.S. forces in the country for a significant period of a year and a half, a time without any American soldier fatalities in Afghanistan. In Trump's view, "And then I left, and this collection of incapable persons took control, and the turmoil began anew." Trump made a striking claim, tagging the withdrawal event as the "most humiliating day in our nation's history." He underscored that Vice President Harris had publicly stated she was the last one present when the withdrawal decision was finalized. This proclamation led some to infer she had the ultimate decision-making authority, a point Trump was eager to critique. He stated, "It's been the most embarrassing moment in our nation's history, Afghanistan. It should have never, ever occurred. We should have exited with respect and power. And you don't extract your military first, you extract them last." PRESIDENT TRUMP: "Two days ago, I watched a parade of the Taliban in Afghanistan, where they were showing all our equipment they took from America-- $85 billion worth... Kamala bragged about being the last person in the room the night that decision was made." Kamala Harris takes credit for being the last person in the room for the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left military weapons and Americans behind. Kamala was asked if she was comfortable with it. Her response? "I do."[pic.twitter.com/mmU6aGP3UN]( - Craig Chamberlin (@CraigChamberlin) [August 14, 2024]( Thanks for joining us, and we'll see you soon.
