With a few precautions, we can all stay safe and enjoy spending time with our loved ones Hi {NAME},

With a few precautions, we can all stay safe and enjoy spending time with our loved ones [Patient]( Hi {NAME},   This week we’ve seen lockdown restrictions continue to ease in England, Scotland and Wales. In Northern Ireland, restrictions are being reviewed and some could be eased as early as 24th May. As exciting as it is that we’re starting to get back some normality, it’s vital that we do everything we can to stay safe while COVID-19 still poses a threat.   In England, anyone over the age of 38 (as well as carers and clinically vulnerable people) is now eligible for their coronavirus vaccine and anyone over 35 will be eligible from later this week. Though we’re now allowed to meet indoors with up to 6 people (or two households), where possible continue to opt to meet outdoors and at a distance to reduce the risk of transmission. And even if you don’t have any symptoms, you can now take [rapid COVID-19 tests]( twice a week, so you can help to reduce transmission in your community.   Dr Sarah Jarvis MBE, Clinical Director at Patient [Covid Fit to Fly]( [Covid Fit to Fly]( [May lockdown easing: what are the new restrictions?](   [May lockdown easing: what are the new restrictions?]( Across the UK, COVID-19 restrictions are changing and many of us will be able to see loved ones for the first time in months.
