Discontinuing the Incident Response service Hi, {NAME}! As part of our mission to focus on the most

Discontinuing the Incident Response service Hi, {NAME}! As part of our mission to focus on the most effective form of cybersecurity - prevention - we are discontinuing the Incident Response service on May 1st. We are also removing the Site Scanner feature which suggested improvements, and we are also changing how Patchstack settings are managed in the WordPress plugin. Discontinuing the Incident Response add-on Starting from May 1, 2024, we will no longer be providing incident response services. The best approach to cybersecurity in an era of increasing vulnerabilities is preventing them, and that's our mission at Patchstack. It's for this reason that we've chosen to double-down on the preventative, and not reactive, measures. If you had this add-on enabled, it will be deactivated on May 1st and you will no longer be charged for it.   Changing the Patchstack WordPress plugin controls Due to complexity of settings you are able to use in Patchstack to protect your WordPress websites, we no longer offer settings in the WordPress plugin. Instead, you will be able to centralize your settings management in your Patchstack app dashboard. The changes will be automatically reflected on your WordPress website. Our team has started working on a new page that will allow you to change the plugin settings for all your sites in a single overview.   Discontinuing the Site Scanner feature We will no longer scan websites for general improvements (such as missing security headers, expired SSL certificates, and domain expirations) because this is handled by default by most domain registrars and hosting providers.   What’s next? As the #1 CNA in 2023, it's our mission to make cybersecurity faster, safer, and easier to manage. These changes reflect our dedication to preventative cybersecurity, and they will allow us to focus on protecting you from plugin vulnerabilities even faster. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
