KEEP GOING, TROUBLEMAKERS
In the midst of a global pandemic that is disproportionately killing people of color, a citizen’s uprising has taken a hold of the streets to protest against police brutality and the systemic racism that perpetuates injustice. Trying as these past few weeks have been, we’ve truly felt energized by the determination, strength, and ingenuity we’ve seen from our community of changemakers. As we move forward and continue to adapt to our circumstances, speaking up has never felt more urgent.
If you want to fight injustice but aren’t sure where to start, a great first step is to be open to learning. In this newsletter, you’ll find some great resources on systemic racism, the criminal justice system, and voting inequality. And as we approach election season, remember that your vote is one of the best ways to make your voice heard to demand the change you wish to see.
