You're not bullish enough. [Altucher Confidential] January 11, 2024 [WEBSITE]( | [UNSUBSCRIBE]( Mainstream America can buy Bitcoin in a click. You’re not bullish enough. [Hero_Image] Bitcoin ETFs and ‘80s Rap Music [Chris Campbell] CHRIS CAMPBELL Dear Reader, “Bitcoin ETFs are like rap albums in the late '80s,” Eric Balchunas, a Senior ETF Analyst for Bloomberg, posted on X. “Vanguard won't even carry them and here's JPM slapping a Parental Advisory on BlackRock’s BTC ETF.” Here’s the warning from JP Morgan, reminiscent of the “EXPLICIT CONTENT” tags on albums. [pub] Funny thing is… The "Parental Advisory" stickers -- indeed meant to serve as warnings -- often had the opposite effect. I remember it clearly. They made these albums cool, more desirable, edgy or rebellious. (This was, of course, the age of MTV.) Similarly, warnings from institutions like JP Morgan or Vanguard certainly aren’t going to dissuade anyone who hadn’t already made up their mind. If anything… It might actually be a motivator. (This is, of course, the post-Gamestop world.) Consider: [Update Regarding SEC Crypto Decision]( James Altucher here. I just recorded this 2-minute video regarding the SEC Bitcoin ETF decision. It’s critical that you watch it right now because generational wealth is at stake here. [>>Click here or below to watch it. Tomorrow could be too late<<]( The Great Exodus “I have a retirement account with Vanguard,” said Neil Jacobs. “I called them and they said they will NOT be offering ANY of the Bitcoin ETFs. I’m working on transferring assets out of there and then I will close my Vanguard account. Terrible business decision by Vanguard.” He’s not the only one moving out. [pub] [pub] To be sure, this decision by Vanguard isn’t TOO surprising. And we’re sure they’ll be fine. BUT It does represent a sea change for crypto. And James is back again to reveal why. James’ Emergency Podcast This time, James sat down with our VP Doug Hill to give a play-by-play. “The ETF,” says James, “means Mainstream America can finally buy Bitcoin. Even the most famous places to buy Bitcoin were hard to figure out. Now that’s over.” James’ prediction is that within the year $50 to $100 billion is going into Bitcoin ETFs. If that doesn’t sound like a big deal to you… You need to watch this (short) podcast. [Click here to learn more]( Just imagine being able to turn back the clock to the 1980s – right as a new technology known as the PC was getting its start… Seeing the promise of the PC – and captivated by Microsoft’s technology – an early investor decides to put in $500 during the company’s IPO in 1986. As of today, that $500 investment would have turned into a fortune worth over $1.6 MILLION. I bring this up because we are at the dawn of a new innovation which could be even BIGGER than the PC.
