Before Social Security runs out… [The Daily FWD] October 27, 2023 [UNSUBSCRIBE]( Access Your Dream Retirement Dear Reader, Happy Friday! Before we get into what our editors were looking at this week, we take a second to address some questions you might have. There were a lot of questions about Social Security checks. Which is understandable… When it comes to saving and planning for your retirement, you're on your own. You simply can't trust that Social Security payments will be there when you need them. So it's important that you build your own retirement plan to cover the income you need during your golden years. If you plan to self-sustain your retirement, any Social Security payments will just be a happy surprise — a little extra income that you can do something special with. But if you plan for Social Security payments to be there forever, you could be disappointed and have to scramble to make ends meet. Zach Scheidt is an expert on all things retirement. In his Rich Retirement Letter, he makes it his goal to help you create your retirement wealth. One of the best ways to do this is by investing in solid companies that generate reliable profits and pay healthy dividends. These may not be as exciting as buying shares of Roku, Tesla, or Nvidia. But dividend stocks will carry less risk and help you sleep better at night, knowing that you're creating income and wealth for your long-term retirement. Let’s face it, inflation is soaring, with no end in sight. And things are about to go from bad… to much worse. Zach will show you how to generate income in any market. [>>Click Here to Access His Latest Briefing<<]( You can also check out Zach’s section below for a free resource that you might not know about, but can definitely make you money. We also got this question: “Are SMRs Small Modular Reactors going to be an investable resource and who might be the leaders in this development?” Absolutely! In case you don’t know, SMRs (or small modular reactors) are nuclear reactors that are smaller and much safer than conventional reactors. Nuclear reactors are normally huge, complex, expensive utilities… but SMRs are simplified. They’re almost completely built inside a factory, you just ship them wherever you need them and then you set them up module by module… not to mention, they’re MUCH safer than “old style” nuclear reactors. While huge nuclear plants are generally government led and funded, most SMRs are being developed through private investment. But if you’re looking to invest in this space, a big player in the nuclear energy renaissance is NuScale Power Corp. (SMR). Founded in 2007, NuScale has developed small modular reactor nuclear technology to supply energy for electrical generation, district heating, desalination, commercial-scale hydrogen production, and other process heat applications. The NuScale Power Module is a small, safe pressurized water reactor that can generate 77 megawatts of electricity. It can be scaled to meet customer needs. And it’s the only SMR company that’s received Standard Design Approval from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. This is not an official recommendation, but if you want to dip your toes in the SMR market, NuScale is a great place to start. Now, here’s what our editors were looking at this week… [Click here to learn more]( Zach Scheidt: House Rich, Cash Poor Chances are good that you have a house or a condo that you've owned for some time. While you may have bought your house with a mortgage, most retirees are now in a spot where they've paid down some (or all) of their mortgage and have a lot of equity in their homes. Are you one of those homeowners? If so, congratulations! And with the huge increase home prices saw the past few years, that means the real estate wealth that you're accumulating is likely becoming a bigger part of your net worth. While that's great news for homeowners across the country, there's a bit of a problem that many retirees are running into… but Zach has the solution.
