Who Can You Trust? [The Daily Reckoning] June 03, 2023 [WEBSITE]( | [UNSUBSCRIBE]( Revolt Against the “Pathocracy” - Should the U.S. surrender its sovereignty to the WHO?… - Smoking-gun proof of Biden corruption?… - Then James Howard Kunstler shows you why he believes we’re governed by a “pathocracy.” but also how regular people are fighting back… [[LEAKED MEMO] AI Opportunity]( [Click here for more...]( A leaked memo from Google on AI could prove that it's the biggest opportunity of the decade. Silicon Valley insider, James Altucher, shows that a tiny AI company could be in the crosshairs of major NASDAQ players — and a buyout deal could be announced at any moment. And if you don’t get in this stock before a potential deal is announced... You’ll miss out for good. Take a look at this research, and this urgent buy alert, before it’s too late. [Click Here ASAP]( Saratoga Springs, New York Editor’s note: We’re governed by a “pathocracy” — rule by psychopaths. That’s the conclusion of our resident scalawag James Howard Kunstler, as he explains in today’s reckoning. But as James also shows you, there is hope for regular people. [James Howard Kunstler] JAMES HOWARD KUNSTLER Dear Reader, Perhaps you’re aware that the World Health Organization (WHO) is cooking up a plan to impose its will over all the sovereign nations on this planet in the event of future pandemics. That means, for instance, that the WHO would issue orders to the USA about lockdowns, vaccines and vaccine passports and we U.S. citizens supposedly would be compelled to follow them. Why the “Joe Biden” regime would go along with this globalist power play is one of the abiding mysteries of our time — except that they go along with everything else that the cabal of Geneva cooks up, such as attacks on farmers, and on oil production, and on relations between men and women, and on personal privacy and on economic liberty throughout Western Civ, as if they’re working overtime to kill it off. And all of us with it. I think they’re working overtime at that because the sore-beset citizens of Western Civ are onto their game, and getting restless about it. So the Geneva cabal is in a race against time before the center pole of their circus tent collapses and the nations of the world are compelled to follow the zeitgeist in the direction of decentralizing, foiling all their grand plans. The “Joe Biden” regime is pretending to ignore the reality that this WHO deal is actually a treaty that would require ratification by a two-thirds vote in the Senate, an unlikely outcome. In any case, handing over authority to the WHO — in effect, to its chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus — to push around American citizens like a giant herd of cattle would be patently unlawful. That center pole of the circus tent is the wobbling global economy. It’s barely holding up the canvas over the three rings of the circus. In the center ring, the death-defying spectacle of the Biden Family crime case is playing out before a huge audience (us). Huh, what? This week, a gun went off at the FBI and smoke is curling out of the barrel. FBI Director Christopher Wray was forced to verify that he’s been sitting on an incriminating document for three years from a “trusted” confidential human source, i.e., an informant, stating that the Biden Family received a $5 million bribe from a foreign entity when “JB” was VP. That’s only one bribe of many others, of course, as documented in the Hunter Biden laptop, and it must be obvious it represents treasonous behavior that will demand resignation or impeachment. Well, in a normal country it would. But we no longer live in a normal country. Below, I show you how we’re governed by a self-interested “pathocracy” — but also, how normal people are finally beginning to stand up against it. Read on. Regards, James Howard Kunstler for The Daily Reckoning [feedback@dailyreckoning.com.](mailto:feedback@dailyreckoning.com) Editor's note: [This man]( is a 35-year AI veteran who has worked closely on AI technology for decades… - In 1988, the National Science Foundation funded him to build an AI chess program - He’s written and published academic papers on AI - And he’s used AI to trade stocks as early as 2001. There’s no guarantee you’ll make 2,900% gains in just three days, of course. But even if it’s just 25% or 50% in a matter of days… wouldn’t you take that? And this AI expert predicts the next big AI opportunity could happen just months, weeks, even days from now. [Click here for details.]( [Urgent: Currency Wars Alert]( [Click here for more...]( “Worst case scenario is almost inevitable” -Former Pentagon Insider Jim Rickards In my 2011 book, I warned that the U.S. was engaged in a currency war. And that these wars: “Degenerate into sequential bouts of inflation, recession, retaliation and actual violence as the scramble for resources leads to invasion and war.” Now with Putin invading Ukraine…Rising tensions with China… Inflation, recession, and supply chain issues all hitting the U.S. economy at the same time. It seems as if some of my worst fears have finally come true. [That’s why I’ve recorded an urgent video message.]( To update you on exactly what you need to be doing to protect yourself. Because if history is any indicator, this will not end well. [Watch My Video Here]( The Daily Reckoning Presents: The shrinking “trust horizon” and the looming revolt against the “pathocracy”… ****************************** Revolt Against the “Pathocracy” By James Howard Kunstler [James Howard Kunstler] JAMES HOWARD KUNSTLER As the Biden saga spools out in the weeks and months ahead, do you think Americans will be in the mood to accept further insults such as “Joe Biden” surrendering our national sovereignty to the WHO? Anyway, you must ask yourself: Why on Earth should I trust the WHO about anything? Did they not participate in laying a trip on the world with COVID-19? How did those lockdowns work out? Do you think they destroyed enough businesses and ruined enough households? How’s the vaccination program doing? Effective? Safe? Yeah, maybe not so much. Maybe killing a lot of people, wrecking immune systems, sterilizing reproductive organs, causing gross disabilities, shattering lives. Of course, in over three years neither the WHO nor the U.S. medical authorities showed the slightest interest in helping to figure out how the COVID-19 virus was made in a lab, and exactly how it got loose in the world. You cannot trust the WHO about anything. The “trust horizon” (a concept introduced by the great Nicole Foss, late of TheAutomatic-Earth dot com) is shrinking. You can no longer trust any distant authorities. You also cannot trust the U.S. federal government (especially the executive branch behind “Joe Biden”). And notice: the trust horizon is shrinking just as the world is de-centralizing. This, you see, is the main contradiction behind all the Globalists’ twisted ambitions to control everything, including you. They’re working against the current tide of human history which is pushing everything toward down-scaling, re-localization, and re-assertion of the sovereign individual person. That trend will become increasingly evident as things organized at the giant scale start to implode — giant retail chains, medical behemoths, hedge funds, big banks, you name it. The world no longer has the mojo for globalism. There’s reason to wonder these days whether the USA has the mojo to remain a unified national polity of states. Our federal government is not only financially bankrupt beyond any coherent reckoning, it is also morally bankrupt, and it has decided to make war against its own people. As all this unfolds, something grotesque is revealing itself: a bankruptcy not just of money but of national purpose, meaning, and legitimacy. You realize this day, with a breaking heart, that your country has been stolen by psychopaths. We’re already off the road and now it’s only a matter of how this vehicle comes to a stop in the ditch. Then, it’s a question of how each of us emerges from the smoldering wreckage. The main thing, though, is clear to everyone: What we were riding in is no more. We’re out there stumbling around in the dark, in shock, trying desperately to assess our whereabouts and what has happened to us. Now, the trouble with being ruled by psychopaths is that they don’t care about other people. They are actually incapable of imagining the lives of others, especially the fact that these others care about each other, and what happens to them. You may have noticed, for instance, that the psychopath Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) went to Ukraine last week and declared, “Russians are dying. We have never spent money so well.” Only a couple of months ago, he called for the assassination of Vladimir Putin. He stopped short of dissing Mr. Putin’s mother. Ukraine, of course, is a lost cause, and it was never a good cause in the first place. Contrary to Lindsay Graham’s untoward utterance, American money has killed far more Ukrainians than Russians. He overlooked this unappetizing tidbit because he doesn’t care about the Ukrainians, for whose sake our “folks” in charge supposedly undertook this mess. [Warning: Will “Bidenflation” Destroy Your Retirement?]( [Click here for more...]( If you’re like most Americans, you’ve worked hard for decades to build your financial legacy. And now, as a result of Biden’s disastrous money printing policies, that’s all at risk. According to one top retirement expert, “Bidenflation” threatens to destroy your retirement and make your hard-earned savings worthless. That’s why you must take action right away to protect yourself… [Click Here To Learn How]( Lindsay Graham also may not have noticed that our country is collapsing and Russia is not. That must be because Lindsay Graham does not care about Americans, either. As for our money, it looks like most of the rest of the world — the nations that still produce things of value — are so turned-off by American pathocracy that they are seeking every way possible to stop using our money in international trade settlements. That money, our dollar, became the world’s reserve currency because our country ended up on top in the previous world war and for the better part of a century afterward dominated the planet militarily. Naturally, as our leadership turned more pathological and pathocratic, so did our military endeavors — until lately they amount to little more than just smashing up other countries to show we can do it. These other countries must wonder which is the next place that America will try to smash up? Two of these other countries, Russia and China, are coming around to the realization that they are possibly better equipped to do the smashing than America is. There is no indication that our pathocracy recognizes that the next smash-up may be World War Three, and that we may not emerge from it victorious. Hence, we must contemplate our less-than-glorious prospects ahead. How will our pathocrat neo-con strategists greet the debacle of our failure in Ukraine? Denial and spin, for sure. But will they scramble to dream up yet another misadventure as reckless and absurd? You have good reason to be concerned. Pathocracy always marches toward totalitarianism because pathocrats can’t imagine a management of public affairs by a people who care about each other (and their country). Therefore, everyone must be subject to incessant coercion and punishment, especially for their thoughts (and especially for thoughts of opposition to pathocracy). However, there are certainly more people who care about each other than there are psychopaths in America. I’m not a big fan of quantification but, for the record, psychiatric meta-analysis estimates that 1.2 to 4.5 % of the population displays psychopathic personality disorders. How that tiny fraction of the citizenry came to take charge of our affairs is surely the big mystery of the moment. My guess is that under conditions of economic-social-and-political collapse, the people who care about each other become preoccupied with their mutual caretaking duties while the psychopaths, unburdened by such cares, can go about other business — such as plunder, murder, and the sowing of chaos. Sometimes in history, the pathocrats are simply overthrown by the majority of humans with functioning emotional equipment. It’s not easy, though, because in most other places around the world, the pathocracy become the sole owners of the guns and have armies and police at their disposal to put down revolts. That’s not quite exactly the case here in the USA with our Second Amendment to the Constitution. The putative president, “Joe Biden,” cracked some time ago that anyone seeking to oppose him better bring some F-15 fighter planes to get the job done. As the good book says: “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” None of this is satisfactory and none of this is working. It’s time to figure out who and what you can trust and act accordingly. Today is the pregnant moment before history gives birth to new and astounding events. Everyone senses it. The rough beasts are out there slouching across the fruited plain. Attend to your duties courageously, as those before us did.
