BirdPravda Reinstates Hypocrisy Exposer Account - @DefiantLs is a hilarious poster of all things “left hypocrisy.” - Twitter banned the account for no reason. - After an uproar, BirdPravda reinstated the account… also with no reason. Recommended Link [Crazy “Back Door” Way Into Alt Coins]( [Click here for more...]( Virtually hundreds of tiny cryptocurrencies have shot up 1,000’s of percent over the last year. And our crypto expert James Altucher has found a weird ["back door"]( way into these types of fast moving cryptos completely free. One that requires NO monetary investment on your end... (just a few minutes of your time). I know that sounds crazy, but it’s 100% true. James will explain everything in less than 2 minutes. [Click Here To Watch]( Sean Ring Editor, Rude Awakening Happy Thursday! One more day to go. This will be a shorter-texted Rude, as the pictures count for a thousand words each. You may have seen many memes floating around the interwebs with a picture of a tweeter tweeting two complete opposite assertions at different times. As I refuse to give Twitter one ounce of revenue, I had no idea those memes come from one account. That account, @DefiantLs, deserves a medal for its work. But as we still inhabit Clown World, Twitter instead banned the account. Of course, the non-leftist Twitterverse rightfully threw a tantrum. Twitter relented and reinstated the account. So today, we’re going to have some fun with the Streisand Effect. If you have never heard of it, the Streisand Effect is a phenomenon whereby the attempt to suppress something only brings more attention or notoriety. From [Merriam Webster]( The Streisand mentioned is not an economist or sociologist, but Babs herself: the singer Barbra Streisand. In 2003, she sued photographer Kenneth Adelman for photographing her Malibu beach house from the air. (Adelman had been photographing the whole coastline in the hopes of documenting erosion.) He put the pictures online, and Streisand sued to have them taken down. Prior to the suit, only a handful of people had seen the photo, but once news of the suit broke, hundreds of thousands of people sought it out online, and the photo suddenly proliferated in forums and on sites. Streisand and her lawyers had inadvertently brought attention to the picture they wanted removed. This phenomenon has happened again and again, fueled by the viral nature of the Internet. Since Twitter has pissed me off time and time again, let’s get @DefiantLs another 70,000 followers. That would bring the account’s total to over 500,000 followers. It’s a good goal. Philosopher-Truck Driver John Ring on Hypocrisy Goodness, there was nothing that got my father’s goat up more than hypocrisy. He didn’t so much pronounce the word as spit it out - literally. It was more like “HYP(spittle)ocrites” than “hypocrites.” I remember reading Voltaire years ago and laughing about how he was more articulate about hypocrisy than dear old Dad. [Voltaire hilariously lambasted the Church in Candide]( Voltaire uses satire to present his view of a hypocritical Church many times throughout the book, but one of the most prominent is between Candide and the orator who spoke to the crowd. “‘My friend,’ the orator said, ‘do you believe that the Pope is the Antichrist?’ ‘I have never yet heard that he is,’ Candide replied. ‘But whether he is the Antichrist or not, I need bread.’ ‘You don’t deserve any,’ the orator said. ‘Go away, you rogue, you wretch! Don’t you come near me again as long as you live.’” This is important to Voltaire’s views on Christianity, because this man who was just speaking about being charitable decided to turn away someone looking for food. Lest I descend into a theological discussion, let’s get back to the present. One Twitter account is the Voltaire of its day, leading the charge against the daily bull. @DefiantLs, via ZeroHedge Reading ZeroHedge is my equivalent of reaching for the bottle of single malt. Sometimes, it’s just got to be done, and the burning liquid descending my throat feels good. So it is when reading ZeroHedge. I had stopped reading for a long time because I found myself in a melancholic daze for, well, days afterward. But these days, it’s one of the only authentic sources of news out there. They penned [this great piece]( on @DefiantLs two days ago and have updated it since. Honestly, I had never heard of @DefiantLs because I hate Twitter, and I also assumed their memes came from multiple sources. Nope, it’s one account. (I don’t know if it’s one person or not.) Long story short: Hypocritical liberals were upset for being exposed as hypocritical and petitioned Twitter to ban the account. Hypocrites. It’s a case of getting caught out. Not of breaking any rules. Or leaking classified information. Or “hate speech,” whatever that is. It’s just setting two diametrically opposed tweets from the same person next to each other. That’s it. @DefiantLs doesn’t even comment on the hypocrisy. The account just throws the offending tweets out there for all to see. So let’s celebrate @DefiantLs with some of its juiciest exposures: In this tweet, @MAGAJew2 shows one of the hypocrites admitting to reporting @DefiantLs to Twitter.
