[OVI Market Review] JP Morgan Flies On Earnings, Broader Markets Trying

The markets JP Morgan has fired the starting gun of earnings with a bang, with other financials taking encouragement. But right now, any of these recent gap-ups will need to consolidate in order to form a preferred trade setup. Keep an eye on them, but don’t rush in. As I go through my regular process, I see a market with more upside potential, but apart from the financials, other stocks are making rather heavy weather of things. So, my guidance for the past two weeks of further short-term upside continues, with a number of our bullish setups having performed well, but there is a “but … ” in the equation. Go to the blog for more detail. Fast Filters Stock Selection: Time and time again we see the power of focusing on Big Money Footprints around the Key Levels. Even in sub-optimal market conditions, they provide the safest setups. It also pays to keep things simple, and this is particularly true with options. Of course we can do the fancy stuff, but your bread and butter should be optimal stock setups combined with sensible and responsible options strategies that you understand. The Analyzer and Pricer will help enormously with that, so you always know what you’re doing.
