Nov 28, 2023 By Jeff Siegel for the Outsider Club The One Investment Gen Z Should Be Making Right Now Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. It was a great day, though. Breaking bread with family and friends gives us all some time to reconnect with our loved ones. Itâs good for the soul. Although Thanksgiving in our home is never free of tension. For us, itâs typically a battle between the boomers and the Gen Zs, who oftentimes seem to be speaking different languages. And this year, my 15-year-old niece dragged me into it. You see, now that sheâs just one year away from getting her drivers license, she wants a car. Which is actually surprising, since it seems like most Gen Zs donât have much interest in driving. But sheâs always been an outlier. In a good way. [$34,200 Retirement Handout Starts on DECEMBER 18.]( There isnât much time to waste... You could boost your retirement income by up to $34,200 a year simply by staking a claim on a new income stream hidden in the recent Inflation Reduction Act. Itâs 100% legal, but youâll need to move fast. The next payment is due on DECEMBER 18. [Discover the full details of this retirement income opportunity by clicking here.]( In any event, she wanted me to help convince her parents to get her an electric car for her 16th birthday. âUncle Jeff, you know everything about electric cars. I know you can convince them!â While itâs true, I do know quite a bit about electric cars, I also know about personal responsibility and the value of hard work. So I asked her how much she had saved so far. Turns out, not much. In fact, she hadnât been saving for a car at all, and just assumed her parents would buy her one. She tried to manipulate my treehugger tendencies, talking about the environmental benefits of electric cars over internal combustion vehicles. But that effort fell short with me because I donât believe she should just be given a car. At least not without making an effort to pitch in. Moreover, I see no reason for her to even have a new car. My first car was a 1980 Chevy Chevette. It cost me $600. She was a beauty! [chevychevette] And while my parents did help me out, I started working at Burger King when I was 15 so I could start saving money for a car. The job sucked, but it helped me appreciate the value of the money I earned. If money is just given to you all the time, youâll never be able to value it properly. That being said, I love my niece, and would love to see her get a car for her 16th birthday. So I made her a deal. I told her Iâd invest the $5,000 I was going to give her for her birthday in some stocks that Iâm personally bullish on. Stocks that I fully believe will more than double within the next year. At which time, I would give her the option of selling those stocks and taking her winnings, or let them ride, thereby allowing her to make even more money. In full transparency, these stocks were recommended to me by my good friend and colleague Keith Kohl, who has actually helped me make a lot of money over the years. And he believes these stocks should steadily climb over the next two years. Truth is, I believe the $5,000 Iâm going to invest for her will be worth in excess of $20,000 if sheâs willing to wait about two years for the payoff. This Pill Will âDefine the Next Decadeâ A new medical breakthrough smaller than the size of your pinkie is about to reshape human history. Because believe it or not, this tiny pill can eradicate every single sign and symptom of aging and disease... Which leaves you looking and feeling forever young. Donât believe it? [Check out this proof...]( For $20,000 not only will she be able to afford a new car, but sheâll even be able to afford a new electric car. It wonât be particularly fancy or come with a 300-mile range, but itâll be good enough for her to get back and forth from school or take to college, where she hopes to earn a degree in molecular biology. Yeah, sheâs that smart. Not much common sense, though. But thatâll come with time. Regardless, she reluctantly took me up on the offer, and her parents were grateful for the opportunity I presented to her. Although once that offer was made public to the rest of the family, everyone else wanted a crack at some of this action, too. So of course, I obliged. But that also got me thinking about you and all our daily readers. While weâre not blood related, I do legitimately care about your well-being, and love having the opportunity to help you build and protect your wealth. So Iâm going to share the same opportunity I shared with my niece with you.
