Next week (29 July), submissions for poster presentations at FiO + LS will end. Consider presenting your research at the all-virtual conference. [OSA Frontiers in Optics + Laser Science APS/DLS - The 2020 Virtual Conference](JcRy-ibrN:m:1:2702902251:5B4EC34BE5CBBF24959F5DDF8ACC94B3:r) OSA Frontiers in Optics + Laser Science APS/DLS will be held as scheduled in an all-virtual, web conference format. [horizontal row] [Next Week, We're Closing Submissions for FiO + LS](JcRy-ibrN:m:1:2702902251:5B4EC34BE5CBBF24959F5DDF8ACC94B3:r) Extended Posters-only Submission Deadline: 29 July 2020 FiO + LS will be presented as scheduled in an all-virtual format. If you were hesitant to submit a paper for consideration to present, you can now do so with full confidence that your research will be seen by its intended audience. While submissions for oral talks have closed, there is a brief, extended opportunity to present a poster. If your submission is accepted and presented, your paper and supplemental poster PDF will be published in OSA Publishing's Digital Library and indexed in Ei Compendex and Scopus. An Inclusive Schedule You are likely to find a session time that is convenient for your time zone. To provide more of our international presenters with an ability to present live during the virtual conference (and participate in Q&A with audience members), poster sessions will be offered at three different times. An Affordable Cost Contributing authors presenting an oral talk or poster will pay a US$ 100 publishing fee. All other participants register for free. APS and OSA recognize that this has been an extraordinary year of disruption. When our community comes together in September, we sincerely hope that, for a brief period, you and your peers will be able to do what you do best — presenting your research to a global audience. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
