Hi, When traders think of liquidity the first thing that comes to mind is resting liquidity. Orders that have been sitting in the order book often act as support or resistance. But there in lies the rub. It makes traders focus mostly on resting liquidity. However, we know that when a market is trending, in a flow driven market, any resting liquidity will be cleared out because the trading being done by the longer term market participants.
