Hi, It is fascinating to see how markets evolve over time. When I started on the CME floor in the early 1990's, the SP500 futures were trading around 300. There were no mini SP. The ES and NQ didn't come along until a few years later. There were only 'big' contracts is SP and ND. It is amazing how the ES and NQ evolved to become the biggest contracts in the world. As a result, other contracts have been relegated to niche traders. Markets such as the grains and metals markets offer traders great opportunities. Most traders when they start trading only look at ES, MES, NQ and MNQ. But there are so many other great markets for trading. This is especially true when it comes to order flow because some of the less glamorous markets follow order flow much better than the ES and NQ because they are more supply and demand driven and trend nicely during the day. Choosing the right market to trade is really a personal choice that depends on your risk tolerance level and trading style. But rather than banging your head against the wall trying to trade a market like MNQ, why not trade a market that isn't a jumpy or twitchy? I have developed a lot of tools over the years to help traders. My most recent tool, the Flowedges is a tool that helps traders see when order flow is bullish or bearish in relation to value. These are all 1-minute charts with the same default settings on the same day. Friday, November 12, 2021. No curve fitting. Copper - Nice intraday price movements. What I am saying is why not expand your trading horizons because sometimes the equity markets are quiet, there are other markets to look at. I will see you on the inside Thanks and regards, Mike Valtos P.S. The special offer on Flowedges is ending soon, so don't miss out on this deal.
