Five Interesting Trades to Look at ------------------------------------------------------ [The Options Trading Newsletter]( [Facebook Icon]( [X Icon]( [Instagram Icon]( [Website Icon]( [LinkedIn Icon]( Hi , Here's Today's 5: XLI – There’s big action in the Industrial ETF. Someone is rolling a large Short Put Spread and Long Call Spread position from December 29th to January 12th. They are ending up with 37,500 XLI January 12th $111-$116 Call Spreads for $1.00 and selling 50,000 $101-$106 Put Spread at $0.34 to finance the trade. You must respect that ‘V’ formation on the chart. A breakthrough the high can get it moving toward $120-$125. UBER – UBER continues to run. Someone is rolling 11,400 UBER December 15th $52.50 Calls at $10.06 into 12,500 (x14,200) UBER February 16th $65 -$70 Ratio Call Spreads for ~$1.06 with stock $62.51. They took a lot of money off the table here after this big run and left a $5 Call spread for only a $1. That’s a nice shift a risk-reward there. They will likely be a buyer of stock lower. I continue to think UBER has a good chance to be the next big tech name but find it difficult to believe it will never see the $50s again. LYFT – As UBER takes off, eyes are shifting toward LYFT. Last month we saw that huge LYFT Call buyer work their way into the January 19th $15 Calls... 70,000 times over 2 days. Today, over 20,000 LYFT December 15th$15 Calls are trading in anticipation of more momentum. The stock is trying to fill this gap up at $16.25 from February. There should be support at $13. SNAP – Wells Fargo upgraded SNAP today and raised their Price Target to $22 from $8. SNAP is trading well, up a quick 60% in 6 weeks. Someone buys 5,000 SNAP April 24th $14 & $15 Calls for $3.20 and $2.67 with stock around $15.75. The RR$ prices are $19.55 and $20.25, respectively. The chart indicates that $16.50 offers some resistance. However, if it gets through that there’s another gap to be filled up at $22.50. Earnings are on February 8th. The decision to buy April and not just earnings indicates this may be someone looking to switch some stock with options after this big move. PENN – Penn Entertainment continues to attract Call buyers after the ESPN announcement. This morning right out of the gate buyers appeared in this week’s December 15th $25.50 and $26 Calls for $0.25-$0.35. Earnings are not due until mid-February. Watch that $23 level as there appears to be good support there. Yours Truly, Felix [How to Buy Puts]( How to Buy Puts Check out every ETF Put we bought over the last 2 years.
