[Click here to jump in the live room!]( [ag views, logo, header] Stocks trade all time highs! Well some of them. I spent most of my time this morning closing positions. For Trading Desk, Pit Report, Weekly Profit Cycles and OP Mentoring I had goodies to close. My Easy Trade Button stocks are flat. That brings me to my next point. When is the Russell 2000 Trust ETF (Ticker: IWM)  going to join the party? I just read on TWTR X that Nvidia Corp (Ticker: NVDA) is worth more than the entire Russell 2000. If so that is amazing but NVDA’s growth is more impressive. [ftsp] Traders think IWM will start to attract bargain hunters. See the call buyers below. [ftsp] I have seen Tech Rallies come and go over 35 years trading options and I learned not to short them going up 30 years ago. There are lots of opportunities in a bull market and Mark will find them in the Trading Zone. I would not short NVDA here but find cheap ways to get long and hedge the exposure. That is trading. IWM might be a cheaper long to add on since historically a rising tide lifts all boats. At least those IWM upside call buyers think so. - AG  [logo, pit profits] - Pit Report - PREP closed MSFT Mar01 410 c 395/385 ps strangles for a 29% gain - Trading Desk - TRD XSP Feb22 496/498 strangles closed for 100% gain - Option Pit Mentoring - OPM SPY Mar08 515/510/480/475 iron condors for a 2.3% gain Want to find YOUR winning fit? Andrew Giovinazzi did a bang-up job in my absence … cause that’s what he does. I spent the past week with a group of newly minted millionaires discussing where they are going to deploy their newfound cash. They were definitely interested in some market ideas that I’ll share with you next week after I finish up some meetings to firm them up. So look for that next week. I then went to a wedding in Western Canada with a bunch of Seattle based tech folks. The talk of the town was obviously Nvidia (Ticker: NVDA). But NVDA beat the talk. It’s almost as if they have a giant, evolving, supercomputer on their side. In the words of NVDA CEO, Jensen Huang, “I’m 50 moves ahead of you and everybody else.” Not everyone saw that blowout coming … but Mark Sebastian did! He crushed a trade. The question, of course, is whether NVDA can keep its foot on the gas. Jensen Huang thinks so because he is calling for another exceptional quarter. While I love jumping on a bandwagon trade … or a Mardi gras float … as much as the next trader, perhaps there are some other Chips in the sea. Ones that are not run by the new Miles Dyson. [The Non-Skynet Chip Company]( - Frank   [glossary, logo] There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need explaining. The Option Pit Glossary is here to help. Today's phrase is:  Historic volatility (HV) - Actual movement of an underlying asset over a previous period of time. Generally referred to as HV or realized volatility, and is often given in intervals like 10-day, 20-day, or 30-day historical volatility.
