[fstp, logo, header] Every day, big money makes a twenty MILLION dollar trading mistake - and the money they leave on the table is just waiting for us to pick it up. A measure I use is VIX versus SPX to judge the health of the rally. As the chart below shows, VIX makes higher lows as SPX makes higher highs. VIX has not made a low since mid-December with new all-time highs in Feb.  I would say short the SPX at your peril, the easy direction is up for sure at least until Nvidia Corp (Ticker: NVDA) reports earnings. The CPI number is next Tuesday which could be another catalyst higher on a benign number. [fsdtp] Today's SPX high produced a VIX recent low and if we get to 12.5 or less next week post CPI I will be happier with the rally. We have navigated this well in the [Trading Desk](and will add more aggressive stock and put trades in the [OP Mentoring Div+.]( [Track Records are here.]( - AG  [logo, pit profits] - Weekly Profit Cycles - SPY Feb29 480/470 ps 500/510 cs mar20 15 put CLOSE FOR 16% GAIN Want to find YOUR winning fit? What did boost stocks was a massive 4% rise in the Hang Seng index overnight in Asia. The rally was a massive 4% rise which was its biggest move since July ’23.[pri] As President Xi was said to take a "personal interest" in the latest stimulus that lifted the SPX higher in the afternoon. Once the “noise” settles down the dollar and bond yields will continue their dominance of stock prices longer-term. Yesterday’s action created a bullish engulfing candle:  [pip] A bullish engulfing candle is found at the bottom of a downtrend and may be signaling a change in that trend. The session begins with the bears still in control keeping the downtrend intact. During the session, the buyers/bulls find a level to enter the market, the shorts decide to cover and the stock rallies. This forms a large bullish green real body. The real body is the difference between the opening and closing prices. A bullish candle is formed when the opening is lower than the closing. A bullish engulfing candle completely takes over and engulfs the previous session’s candle. This signals a possible change in the downtrend. [To see the other signal and how to play this move, you need to continue here.]( - Licia   [glossary, logo] There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need explaining. The Option Pit Glossary is here to help. Today's phrase is: Bear call spread - Short delta trade where the short call is near the money and the long call is out of the money. The trade is generally opened for credit, where the dollar risk is greater than the potential reward.
