Daily Pit Stop [FSTP](   [bf2023]( MARK-et Open  Griff here with the Chart of the Day. Impressive day for the overall market as it shook off a down 2.5% day in NVIDIA Corp. (Ticker: NVDA) post earnings …  The quick build back of positive gamma post Nov17 OpEx is providing a boost as the VIX is now sub-13 … No doubt call buyers have dominated option flow this week.  Check out the rolling of call open interest to higher strikes from Tuesday. This creates a pull to higher strikes as traders are quick to sell options knowing price may be pinned at the higher strikes.  [fstp]  Puts are getting extremely cheap so we may see a pullback next week but until we see a shift in option flows, sellers beware …  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Let's Go! -Bill  [Pit Profits] - DST closed TOST Nov17 15.50 puts for 23% gain - DST closed ETRN Nov17 13 calls for 96% gain  Want to find YOUR winning fit? Take a look here to find outÂ](  -Bill  Profits in Pumps: Eat Guilt-Free!  It’s that time of the year again.  We get to eat all day guilt free.  Yay!  I just cannot get enough of the stuffing and cranberry sauce.  It is so good and easy to make I am sharing it with you:  Cranberry Pear Chutney Serves 8-10  Ingredients 3 cups fresh cranberries 1 cup sugar 3 firm pears peeled and cored 1 tablespoon lemon zest 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice ½ cup fresh squeezed orange juice ¼ cup golden raisins ¼ cup dried pitted dates coarsely chopped (about 5 dates)  1. Combine cranberries and sugar in a saucepan. Cook over medium low heat until cranberries release juices, about eight minutes. 2. Cut pears into ½ in dice. Toss in bowl with lemon zest and juice  3. Add orange juice, raisins and dates to cranberries. Raise heat to medium high. Stir occasionally adding pears when mixture begins to bubble. Cook, stirring until mixture thickens and pears turn red and are cooked through, about ten minutes. 4. Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Refrigerate for up to 24 hours. [fpip] Of course Thanksgiving is about much more than just good food and eating.  It is a day we stop and think about all we have to be grateful for.  And a big one of those things is our relationships.  We often take our loved ones for granted.  Be sure to stop and take the time to let them know how much you love and appreciate them.  Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!  [And take a look at the Apple (Ticker: AAPL) chart.](   -Licia  AG’s Views: China, China, China wrecked Nvidia’s EarningsFrom the Desk of Option Pit Director of Education Andrew Giovinazzi.  To be honest it could have been worse.  The strangle I talked about in the Trading Desk (order form)  were easy winners on the open this morning.  Yes, Nvidia Corp (Ticker: NVDA) disappointed somewhat because they are closing the door on China in their forward guidance.  I thought news like that would send the stock down $100.  But it didn’t.  As I write this SPX is closing on highs and NVDA is only down $7.  That is not the move of a market that wants to go down.  [fstp]  I thought we had a shot at 4600 SPX if the earnings were good. They were good, just the China warning put a monkey wrench in things.  Both the market and NVDA are turning up. Maybe a shortened, low liquidity rally is in the cards for the half day Friday.  Happy Thanksgiving!  -AG  OPTION PIT GLOSSARY [Glossary] There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need explaining.
