MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, Griff here with your Chart of the Day. Looks like my was telling ? In it

[] [The daily rundown of everything happening at Option Pit.]( [.]( MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, Griff here with your Chart of the Day. Looks like my [Power Income newsletter from last week]( was telling … In it I said I thought Janet Yellen may add liquidity into the markets. Well today’s option flow sure indicated as much. Check out the call buying in the S&P complex: [ SPX, SPY and QQQs all closed above the volatility trigger, which flips the trade bias bullish. It seems like a tough trading environment but all you can do is “Go With the Flow” and right now it looks like the flow is coming from the Treasury Account at the Fed (TGA) … we’ll see the actual data on Wednesday. Let's Go! [ Trader's Edge: Impact of Terrorist Attacks on Markets – Weekly Market Outlook It’s Mark Sebastian back with your Weekly Market Outlook Video… The banks may be closed today, but the markets are wide open — and lots is happening. The S&P 500, NASDAQ, and the Dow Jones are all down, but the VIX is up thanks to the weekend effect and the trouble in the Middle East. In today’s video, I’ll break down: - Why volatility is going up - The big moves in oil I’m seeing - And why the bond market is rallying [Watch it all here.]( - Mark [( Power Income: The Interest Rate War is On! The Bond Vigilantes will Win! Back in the 1980’s when inflation was rising and policy makers were manipulating the markets … a new voice arose to protest these policies and take matters into their own hands. This group was known as the Bond Vigilantes. [ Bond Vigilantes are bond traders who sell large amounts of bonds to call BS on the Treasury for lying about the state of the economy. I was trading bonds for Bear Stearns in the 80’s with a massive edge in the markets having insight into the true agenda of the Treasury. Today, I am able to write about this and help traders see the truth to what is going on behind the scenes so you can gain that edge for yourselves. [Click here to find out.]( - Griff AG's Views: Didn’t See That Coming! From the desk of Option Pit Director of Education Andrew Giovinazzi Below is a snap of the VIX Oct18 21 calls. Note over the last 4 sessions they have had successively lower closes every day and this day might be no exception. Ultimately I have to follow the flow and that flow is saying VIX is not going up. It looked like we were in for a pickle, but it didn’t go down that way: [ I know these calls because I own 25 of them and they are rotting away. I own them in call butterflies so the entry price was reasonable enough that the put side of the strangle could pay. I’m going to take the opportunity to close the short sides of my VIX call butterflies now that they are .15 or less. As my Grandma Mary used to say, you never know. - AG OPTION PIT GLOSSARY [( There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need defining. The [Option Pit Glossary]( is here to help.
