[] [The daily rundown of everything happening at Option Pit.]( [.]( MARK-et Open Griff here with today’s Chart of the Day. The Powell Robot was out in Jackson Hole giving the same speech we have heard for the past year. They will not change policy until CPI is back to 2% … Meanwhile, consumers are having trouble paying their credit card bills as delinquencies are soaring. [ This can only get worse as existing loans mature and new loans are hard to get or will be reset at a much higher rate … Powell is making the same mistake he made when inflation started … He waited too long to start and now he is waiting too long to stop … The next few weeks of economic numbers may change his mind .. Have a great weekend everyone, [ Trader's Edge: Get Acquainted with Strangles to Upgrade Your Portfolio - Weekly Recap Mark Sebastian, back to round out your week with today’s Weekly Recap. We saw some pretty incredible volatility and unexpected rallies so watch today’s clip to see the most important things that could provide more trading opportunities next week. I cover: - This week’s Jackson Hole Fed governor’s speech… - NVDA’s dramatic shifts… - One great trade strategy called a strangle… - Pay attention to Bonds if you aren’t already…and - Non-farm payrolls are up next week… [It’s all right here in today’s Weekly Recap…]( - Mark [25).gif]( Pit Report: GNRC Chart Analysis We used to have a generator … when we had a house. But that’s another story. Have you ever lost power for any length of time? It’s kinda crazy. We have become so spoiled taking our everyday lifestyles for granted. Flipping a switch when we need light. Generators can be life savers in power outages. Even in the suburbs of Chicago, our generator was used quite often. I highly recommend having one. Looking at Generac Holdings (Ticker: GNRC), it was once a high flyer trading over $500 at the tail end of 2021. Here is a look at the zoomed out chart: [ GNRC now trades $114. [Click here to take a closer look at this stock.]( - Licia Profits In Pumps: 0DTE for 400% If you aren’t trading 0DTE options, you’re missing out on a lot of action. Zero Days Til Expiration are options expiring that day. [ They provide a ton of opportunities to take advantage of these market intraday gyrations. You can decide at any time to “take a shot” on the market moving up or down. My favorite way to play it is to wait until the last hour to hour and a half of the day. I like this time as I have been watching the market all day and will have a better grasp on which direction I think it will move. Also, with only 60-90 minutes left, you can find very cheap options to buy. I mean like cheap cheap. My favorite play is a call or put within a dollar of the underlying for $.20. I like to play the S&P 500 Mini SPX Options (Ticker: XSP). These options settle in cash so you are never at risk of taking on the underlying. [Click here to see how I booked a 400% gain yesterday.]( - Licia AG's Views: Goldman Sachs Co at year-lows From the Desk of Option Pit Director of Education Andrew Giovinazzi Well maybe not the lowest lows but pretty close lows. I like selling the 300 puts in here when the valuations are good. Right now Goldman Sachs and Co (Ticker: GS) is the fun zone for a put sale. GS wont be up 200% in year but it is a reliably run bank. When the market hates I like selling puts. [ The Dec 300 puts are $5.5 and yield 1.75% to Oct expiration. I would wait to get 1% per month so I have resting put order in at $7 to catch a downtick. Lot]s of stocks are setting up like this. I run my SPYMaster strategy as a portfolio hedge. More on this in OP Mentoring. - AG Mark in the Media: Unpopular Opinions Make the Most Profit - Here’s My Take on NVDA I recently had an interview with Bloomberg and shared my thoughts on the tech rally and NVDA earnings. [Here’s the full clip including some ideas to profit by going against popular opinion…]( - Mark [27).gif]( OPTION PIT GLOSSARY [( There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need defining.
