[] [The daily rundown of everything happening at Option Pit.]( [( MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, Griff here with the Chart of the Day. Today was a pivotal day in markets as the sell-off due to Friday’s OpEx has played out. Now, the technicals and option flow take over with the Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (Ticker: QQQ) approaching the volatility trigger (VT). When the stock price is above the VT, it’s bullish, and below it’s bearish. The level has hovered around 363, and today’s the first day it closed below it. The S&P 500 Index ETF (Ticker: SPY) and the Russell 2000 ETF (Ticker: IWM) also closed below their VT so we may see higher volatility next week with follow through to the downside: [ Should be an interesting week … Let’s Go! [ [ - DELTA STRIKE: INTC Jul7 32.5 puts closed for a 58% gain Want to find YOUR winning fit? Give our Customer Care Team a call at 1-888-8772-3301 Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. EST. Or email them anytime at [support@optionpit.com](mailto:support@optionpit.com?subject=) VIX Edge: VIX Hit Sub-13 The Option Pit VIX Traffic Light Is Red: Volatility is likely to slide. The VIX closed at 12.83 on Thursday … below 13 for the first time since January 2020! This is a huge deal – it means that the market is finally starting to accept normalcy. It’s probably a sign that the bull market that no one wants to accept is here. So knowing this, what will trading look like over the next few months and years? [Click here for your answer.]( - Mark Pit Report: MA Chart Analysis Nowadays we all use our charge cards for everything. Even the cheapest dollar amount we throw on our card. Who carries cash anymore? If you don’t go to your bank physically, or use your own bank’s ATM, you are paying to get your own cash. So we hoard our cash and put everything on our cards. Plus we get points or dollars for the amount of money we charge. I used to use the airline points charge card. Now I use the Costco card and get a check every year. My biggest check was over $800. Pretty nice to get a check like that. And you don’t have to spend it at Costco. Anyway, we are analyzing Mastercard (Ticker: MA) this week. [Click here for my full chart analysis.]( - Licia Profits In Pumps: Were You There? Were you there? Did you see it? Mark Sebastian and Andrew Giovinazzi told us all about their Easy Trade System and how they’ve managed to capture 80% returns. There was an actual member in the audience that said he has done even BETTER than that! He said he has 12 winners out of 12 trades! That’s tremendous! They also shared their insight on where this market is going. I will give you a hint: it isn’t down. You need to see this. [Here is the replay.]( [I also have a trade idea for you.]( - Licia AG's Views: Will Big Tech Bounce? From the desk of Option Pit Director of Education Andrew Giovinazzi Markets got stretched last week. Mark was very right to identify that VIX/SPX up is usually a tell that stocks are not going to hold. That’s what happened to Advanced Micro Devices Corp (Ticker: AMD): [ 1 week chart of AMD on top with 1 min candles, IV sigmas on the bottom, Jul in red. Earlier in the week, AMD climbed to the weekly top with IV relatively high. IV spent the whole week going down, even as AMD dropped over $14. The squeeze was coming off. Now, look at the action today. AMD had what Candle Queen Licia Leslie would call a “doji”, and the selloff is ending up even on the day. IV is dropping now that all the early bulls got shaken out. Don't be surprised if AMD starts its rally again next week. Steady bull markets like lower IV but stocks can keep plodding higher – [something Mark and I talked about last night](. - AG OPTION PIT GLOSSARY [( There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need defining.
