MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, Griff here with the Chart of the Day. This may be the most important chart

[] [The daily rundown of everything happening at Option Pit.]( [.]( MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, Griff here with the Chart of the Day. This may be the most important chart to keep a close eye on – the US Dollar Index (Ticker: DXY), which is again flirting with a breakdown below $101. [ Stanley Druckenmiller, along with George Soros, bet heavily against the British pound prior to its collapse in 1992. During interviews this week, Druckenmiller said his sole high-conviction trade today is betting against the US dollar. De-dollarization, a bad economy, and the market pricing in Fed rate cuts are three strong forces against the greenback. Watch for the break below $101, which will boost commodities and precious metals and hurt Treasury bonds. Let’s Go! [ [ - POWER INCOME TRADER: SLV May05 23/22.5 put vertical spread closed for a 8% gain - POWER INCOME TRADER: SPX Apr25 4130/4135 call vertical spread closed for a 100% return on credit Want to find YOUR winning fit? Or email them anytime at [support@optionpit.com](mailto:support@optionpit.com?subject=) VIX Edge: S&P Breaks Free The Option Pit VIX Traffic Light Is Yellow: Volatility is likely to move wildly. After what seemed like a month of nothingness, the S&P 500 finally broke out on Tuesday, moving lower by 65.41 points. The VIX also moved hard, closing up almost 2 points to 18.76. Here’s the big question people: is this the beginning of a trend, or a one off pre-earnings risk off event? [Click here to see how to approach it.]( - Mark Pit Report: TGT Breakdown Bed Bath and Beyond just declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy– it is going out of business. David Bridal – going out of business. Kohl’s – should have taken that buyout offer. The retail space is in shambles if your company is not Walmart (Ticker: WMT) or Amazon (Ticker: AMZN). In between this mess lies a well-loved name that was shining in 2021 and has now fallen. Not like some of the other names, but certainly a tough sled. Today, we’re breaking down Target (Ticker: TGT). [Click here for my analysis.]( - Mark Power Income: Bank Woes are Back .. Fed May Pause A return of the bank crisis did not take long. [As I wrote recently](, a credit crunch just doesn’t go away. Jerome Powell sent every soldier he had into the fields to tell anyone who would listen that the banks were fine. They haven’t been fine since rates were zero back in 2021. Once rates started rising and deposits started shrinking they just hid their losses and now are exposed. We could see another failure very soon.. [Today, I’ll share a list of 11 banks that may be next to go.]( - Griff Profits In Pumps: I’m Back! I am back. My vacation is over. And it was spectacular. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city with lots of statues, parks with palm trees and open air markets. The people are very nice, the steaks are juicy, and the red wine, from Mendoza, is delicious. As Americans, we traveled like queens. Sadly for the Argentines, they are dealing with massive inflation. There is free health care and free university. We also learned that not everyone loved Eva Peron. The people that do are called Peronistas, and there are politicians that still run under that nickname. The good thing is they have an election coming up this year. [On to the trade.]( - Licia AG's Views: What Happened To The Banks? From the desk of Option Pit Director of Education Andrew Giovinazzi And here I was getting ready to dive into the banks again! Well, I did in the [Easy Button]( as the IV in JPMorgan Chase Corp (Ticker: JPM) was crazy low. I bought a calendar yesterday thinking the worst was over. Not so! Microsoft Corp (Ticker: MSFT) held up the market, but the banks took it down. [ JPM is not at crisis levels yet … but something is up. I closed the short calls in my calendar and replaced them with puts. Even though I think JPM should be $140, that doesn’t mean it won’t trade $130 before that. - AG OPTION PIT GLOSSARY [( There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need defining.
