[] [The daily rundown of everything happening at Option Pit.]( [The daily rundown of everything happening at Option Pit.]( MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, Griff here with the Chart of the Day. For the next few weeks, we will focus on earnings and will start with JP Morgan Chase & Co. (Ticker: JPM), which reports pre-market on Friday The earnings per share estimate is $3.40 and the revenue estimate is $35.72 billion … JPM’s morningstar fair value price is $146 versus the $127.89 closing price. The stock is sitting just above its 200-dma, si barring disaster earnings or guidance the stock is cheap. [ If anything, JPM will benefit from the small and regional banking crisis as deposits shift to too-big-to-fail banks and JPM is No. 1 in that category. Non-farm payrolls came in at 236k vs. 230k expected and the unemployment rate actually came down .1% to 3.5%. These numbers do not include the impact of the banking stress, however, and the forward-looking employment reports tell a very different story. The bottom line here is this report allows the Fed to remain on the “hawkish” side of things and continue this charade of “everything is fine.” US Treasury Bond Rates spiked higher on the report and this could create some volatility for markets this week … [ [Today, we’ll look at which market may be most impacted by the report and trades to consider.](- Griff Power Moves: EPA News on Vehicles If you regulate it, they will come … maybe. Very soon, the Environmental Protection Agency will release strict vehicle emissions standards for light-duty vehicles that, if implemented, would move the US rapidly towards EV adoption. The standards would ensure that 64% to 67% of all new-car sales in the US would be EVs by 2032. The EPA regulations are coming on the heels of California moving to ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars by 2035. At the same time, many car dealers report that EV satisfaction is not as cracked up as it seems. Many consumers are seeking to return EVs in favor of hybrid cards. -Frank Profits In Pumps: Bitcoin Breakout Bitcoin (Ticker: BTCUSD) is on a breakout today after consolidating since March 18 trading over $29,000: [ Watch for a close-up here and the ProShares Bitcoin (Ticker: BITO) Apr21 17.50 calls could be a good purchase. - Licia OPTION PIT GLOSSARY [( There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need defining.
