MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, For most people, investing is about what they DON?T know. Charles Schwab

[] [( [( MARK-et Open Hey OP Crew, For most people, investing is about what they DON’T know. Charles Schwab Inc (Ticker: SCHW) has never recovered from the March swoon hitting financial stocks. It’s the country's sixth largest bank by assets. They have a huge Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) service business, so they are holding massive retirement dollars for the US – as well as my dollars. So what gives here when SCHW is regarded as a conservative institution? Did the Fed encourage banks to load up with Treasuries and then crush them with rates? [ SCHW 3 month chart with one-day candles. I have not dipped my toe in SCHW yet. But it will go up, and that is my basic test. So let it bottom first. Seeing some white candles would be a good thing. [Also a good thing? Joining Griff live to trade the close on Thursday for no cost!]( Let’s Go! Tuesday went some way to proving my point from earlier this week – options are too cheap. The S&P 500 sold off on Tuesday, and might have heard several reasons … - Profit taking - Job openings data - Heck it could be the Trump indictment Well, it was probably none of those. But the S&P 500 did sell off and, while at day's end the NDX and SPX had a nice rally, there are rumblings in the technicals that could signal more fireworks in the days ahead. [Here is what I see and how to trade it.]( - Mark Pit Report: CVNA Breakdown The bank run appears to be over, although I would point out that there was some curious put buying in New York Community Bank on Monday… But despite the rally in the overall market, some of the strong momentum stocks have not participated in the way one might expect. ARK Innovation ETF (Ticker: ARKK) funds were down on Monday AND Tuesday, despite the S&P being up relatively flat on the week and the NDX being up on the week. I thought the time was right to look at a classic momentum name, a name that seems to pop when the market is booming and take the pain when the market is failing. And that name is Carvana (Ticker: CVNA). [Click here for my analysis.]( - Mark Power Income: Control Of Oil Has Officially Changed Hands This week has been historic as the control for oil has taken a major turn. This is something I introduced about 18 months ago when I said the petrodollar’s time in the sun was ending. Now the mainstream media is considering the fact that we are entering a decade of global transformation from central banks holding financial assets in reserve to real assets. [Join me live to trade the close tomorrow starting at 3:30 p.m. ET to take full advantage.]( This week’s price action, meaning stocks down and oil and gold up, represents that change in real time … This shift was always in the cards because real assets were – and always will be – what drives the global economy – NOT financial assets like US stocks and bonds. [ Today we will look at the ramifications and how to make money off this historic transformation. [Click here for the full details.]( - Griff Profits In Pumps: GE Ready to Rollover? So I had my Shopping Spree Open House yesterday. There were quite a few actionable, specific trading ideas i.e. actual options shopping. That’s what we do! I also gave my analysis of lots of stock and futures charts including the major indices, Bitcoin, gold and silver, and crude oil. I hope you were there. If you had a life or death situation and just absolutely could not make it, [here is the replay](. [After that, General Electric (Ticker: GE) may be setting up for a put play.]( - Licia OPTION PIT GLOSSARY [( There are plenty of terms in the trading world that need defining. The [Option Pit Glossary]( is here to help. Today's phrase is: Oversold: A condition where too many sellers want to dump the same security at the same time -- often seen after a big, fast sell-off. Usually when a technical signal, like the RSI, gets to a lower extreme. [( DISCLAIMER: FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE.
