Pit Stop [fstp, logo, header] Join us tonight at 8pm to discuss the SVIX re-entering our buy zone. [Join us live at 8pm here!]( [ag views, logo, header] VIX collapse biggest in history the last 2 weeks, Jpow says hold my beer Fed Chairman Jerome Powell just gave the market some more fuel as Sep rate cuts could happen. They won’t but it was enough of the same message that stocks liked it. I don't see how SPX does not get back to ATH post the Jackson Hole address on Friday at 10am. [ded] VIX ran most of the day and the OP Yield Zone was in bearish territory for stocks. [ded] By the close it flipped positive as some of the downside implied volatility drifted away. At this point, DNC Conference has been a net negative in the polls with no real policy anyone wants to hear coming out. I think that keeps the volatility in the upside for SPX. 5667 is the all time high and just 1 day’s move away. Should see it Friday into the close if not before. - AG  [logo, pit profits] Want to find YOUR winning fit? Any perceived shift in the Treasury's focus from maintaining economic stability to supporting political goals would cause major moves in the U.S. dollar, Treasury bonds and stocks. Sure, enough Yellen made a notable change to its quarterly issuance schedule, introducing future guidance on what to expect… This is an unprecedented shift and one that is most likely politically motivated and intended for use in revealing a proactive and positive policy stance by the administration.
