It was a 0DTE trade, meaning I bought the options the day they were expiring. Here is the exact trade 0DTE Trade Alert: Buy to open 2 XSP May01 507 Puts pay $0.35 OR BETTER LICIA as of 05/01/2024 15:25:55 EDT It was a two lot for a total of seventy bucks with 34 minutes left in the trading day. $XSP was completely flat all day until it spiked higher out of nowhere with just an hour and a half left. The market came right back down to exactly where it started and closed there. My little two lot, $70 trade, made $794!! That’s an 1134% winner!! Imagine had I doubled down on that trade to a four lot, that would have been a real money maker raking in $1588 in 34 minutes!
