Daily Pit Stop UVXY makes a 10 day low 10 days ago, Iran freaked out the world and VIX went jumping

Daily Pit Stop [fstp, logo, header] April 22, 2024 [ag views, logo, header] UVXY makes a 10 day low 10 days ago, Iran freaked out the world and VIX went jumping like a jumping bean. Fast forward 10 days and Israel hit back, Congress is passing huge aid bills and Iran is quiet. VIX futures are back to where they started. The ProShares Ultra VIX Short term futures ETF (Ticker: UVXY) holds futures and is now back to lower levels than it was two weeks ago. This week we have PCE data on inflation and a raft of earnings. [ded] UVXY 10 day chart The market expects higher inflation at this point but decent earnings should shred volatility. It is getting to be a good time to short UVXY again. - AG  [logo, pit profits] - Option pit mentoring - OPM BTO 3 SPY APR26 500/490/480 PB for 1.65 BTO 1 SPY APR26 506 call for 3.60 closed for 3.6% gain Want to find YOUR winning fit? The truth is though… options on actual bitcoin do exist as well. In the US you can trade BTC options on LedgerX.  Internationally, the largest exchange by a mile is Derebit.  Options are extremely active there…we have years of data on Bitcoin Options through Amber Data Derivatives. So leading into the list of these options I already have a really good idea of what to expect….these options will trade similarly to the options that are already available to trade. There is one key difference though between them….the options that currently exist trade essentially 24/7. These options will trade only during market hours…so the closest product is going to be BITO Let's look at how the options behave...
