Daily Pit Stop Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. EST. Or email them anytime at  NKE -- How We'd

Daily Pit Stop [fstp, logo, header] April 16, 2024 [ag views, logo, header] And then there was 1 Chairman Powell said what everyone knows and says this inflation thing is not going away. That likely means rates are staying where they are this year. The inverted yield curve is here for a while it would seem. Last week inflation was higher and bonds took a dive. [fstp] Then Iran decided to attack Israel which mostly just left everyone more angry. It also pushed VIX into Zone 3 close for the first time in 6 months. With VIX dropping into the 17 handle and out of Zone 3, this just leaves the big unanswered question of the Middle East. Until Uncle Sam stops spending, rates will stay where they are. Israel will make Iran pay at some point no one really knows when. So in the short term VIX should ease. The VIX curve is starting to drop out of backwardation which is normally bullish SPX. [fstp] I could even see a long VIX, long SPY idea in Weekly Profit Cycles this week. I closed some SPY put spread last week and this week and now the upside looks back in play. - AG  [logo, pit profits] - Option pit Mentoring - OPM Div+ T Feb16/Apr19 put diagonals for 58% gain Want to find YOUR winning fit?
