UVXY is all of a sudden a performer Don’t get your hopes up for the Proshare Ultra VIX Short Te

[fstp, logo, header] April 15, 2024 [ag views, logo, header] UVXY is all of a sudden a performer Don’t get your hopes up for the Proshare Ultra VIX Short Term futures ETF (Ticker: VIX) yet. Despite being up 20% in a couple days post split it is still down on the year. That number to get to even post split is $42.15. UVXY is getting close to flat for the year which is incredible for a product that has lost 99% of its value since inception [fstp] This also means that we are having a large bout of volatility. Mark had the heebie jeebies this AM with the market and he was right. Middle East, earnings, inflation and higher bond yields are the same brew that took stocks down Oct to Nov. Except the Middle East is back like the Oct 7 Hamas invasion. All the stuff that made stocks swoon in October are back in play sadly. None of it is great for stocks but UVXY loves it. Our UVXY trade will be out, just not today. - AG  [logo, pit profits] Want to find YOUR winning fit? Hey Income Hunters, I have been saying for months that the only way for the US to get out from under its crippling 120+% of debt to GDP is to inflate its way out. Well now Janet Yellen, who as US Treasury Secretary, is in position to force the issue … Yellen recently admitted that the past 40-years of free trade and a strong US dollar has gone too far, which has left the US defense base in a weakened position … Check out her statement after a meeting in China with Vice Premier He Lifeng. “I have just concluded that after significant discussion with my counterpart, I am pleased that we have agreed to launch two significant new initiatives that will advance the interests of American workers and firms and help protect U.S. national security. This is a major position change by the US … Similar to how we pressured Japan into strengthening the Yen in the 90s, which pushed them into multiple lost decades of growth due to the deflation in prices, Yellen is looking to do the same to China … Will China fall into the same trap? Doubtful, but Yellen has another weapon in her “bag of tricks” that she can use to force the issue … [Click through for the full article.Â]( - Bill  Don't miss when our traders go live!
