Happy Birthday to the ETF

[image] SPY turns 30 years old today. It was the first ever traded Exchange Traded Fund, and at first it was a failure. But since then it has changed investing forever. In the last 30 years, it has become insanely easy for us, home gamers to access markets/trades/strategies that we could have only dreamed of a few years ago. I remember in 2004, I was trading stocks in my dorm room and the newest technology was that you could place a trade from your push button phone without having to talk to a stock broker.
