[Option Beast]( 06/19/2021   |   [View in browser]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Facebook Makes New All-Time High, Options Traders Grab Calls]( Facebook Inc. hasn't issued any notable news since it printed its first-quarter 2021 earnings report on April 28, but that hasn't stopped the stock from reaching new all-time high after new all-time high. On Tuesday, the Cathie Wood's-led ARK Invest said it believes Facebook's 2022 smartwatch launch will lead the social media giant into the augmented reality space. The news helped Facebook reach a new all-time high of $339.92 early Monday morning before trading down slightly in consolidation. Facebook's stock is already up about 25% this year, and 147% since the pandemic-induced dump. Buffett isn't infallible, but he's delivered an annual average return of 20% since the mid-1960s for his shareholders. In aggregate, we're talking about a return of more than 2,800,000%! What's even more amazing is that Buffett hasn't done anything the average investors couldn't do to net these huge gains. He focuses on a few sectors and industries that interest him, buys companies with clear-cut competitive advantages, and most importantly hangs onto those stakes for a very long time. Another source of Buffett's success is concentration. The Oracle of Omaha doesn't believe diversification is necessary if you know what you're doing. This is readily apparent in Berkshire Hathaway's $302.6 billion investment portfolio. As of this past weekend, 85% of Berkshire's invested assets ($257.3 billion) were tied up in only 10 stocks. Your first step when thinking about borrowing money to pay bills should always be to first look inward, according to Winnie Sun, a financial advisor. Sun, co-founder of Sun Group Wealth Partners in Irvine, California, said she calls the practice "profit-shopping." The idea is simple. You go through every item in your budget and see where you can find money to save. A big opportunity right now is your car insurance premium, according to Sun. Many people are driving less and can renegotiate their rates based on their lower usage. If you've gone through your entire budget and still need money, Sun has a few other suggestions to share.
