Hi {NAME}, Himanshu here from OptimizeSmart. I hope you are doing well. I have couple of updates for you... # Get helpful tips on daily basis If you are the type of person who finds it helpful to receive short tips on GA4, improving conversions, fixing attribution issues and learning about analytics in general, then follow me on LinkedIn. I post a few short tips each day. [Click here and follow me on LinkedIn.]( #1 [Understanding GA4 Attribution Paths (Conversion Paths).]( An Attribution Path (also known as ‘key event path’ or ‘conversion path’) is the sequence of touchpoints with digital marketing channels that lead to key events over a period of 1 to 90 days. Touchpoint (also known as ‘interaction’, exposure, touch, or customer touchpoint) is the point at which a person comes into contact with your brand before, during and after completing a key event (aka conversion) on your website. You can understand your customer’s purchase journey by identifying the touchpoints that occurred before and during key events. By identifying the touchpoints after a key event, you can understand your customer’s satisfaction level. #2 Weekly Practical Tips on GA4 and/or BigQuery. In GA4, you should now wait at least "12 days" before analyzing conversion attribution data to get the most complete and accurate picture of channel performance. This is because attributed conversion data for each channel can be updated for up to 12 days after the conversion (aka 'Key event') is recorded. . . Suppose you are running an e-commerce website and analyzing your GA4 data on Monday, July 15, 2024. You are particularly interested in measuring the performance of a new marketing campaign that started on Wednesday, July 10. Here's how the delayed attribution might play out: . . Initial view (July 15): >> You see 100 key events attributed to the campaign from July 10-14. >> The value associated with these key events shows $10,000 in revenue. Updated view (July 27): You check the same date range (July 10-14) again on July 27. >> Now you see 120 key events attributed to the campaign. >> The value associated with these key events has increased to $12,500 in revenue. . . This difference can occur because of the following two reasons: 1) Some users who interacted with your ads during July 10-14 may have taken several days to complete key events (e.g., purchases). 2) GA4 continued processing and attributing these delayed key events to the appropriate channels and campaigns over the following 12 days. As a result, the initial data analysis on July 15 underestimated the campaign's performance. The updated view on July 27 provides a more accurate picture of the campaign's true impact, showing 20 additional key events and $2,500 more in revenue. . . Takeaway>> For the most accurate data analysis, it is best to look at date ranges ending at least "12 days" before the current date. #3 [Join Digital Analytics Implementation programs](. 1) Sales and ROI Accelerator course - This course is designed to help you quickly increase your website sales and ROI in a short period of time. 2) GA4 Mastery Course - Learn and Master Google Analytics 4 (GA4). 3) GA4 BigQuery Course - This course is designed to send and manipulate GA4 data in BigQuery. 4) Data, Maths and Stats Mastery Course - Learn the maths & statistics behind digital analytics and conversion optimization to correctly interpret data and make data-smart business decisions. #4 [Get the 62 points GA Checklist ebook (45 pages)](.
