[Click here and follow me on LinkedIn.]( #1 [How to find and fix Duplicate Transactions in GA4]( GA4 automatically de-duplicates transactions with the same transaction ID from the same user. However, if the same transaction ID is used for different users, such transactions are not automatically de-duplicated by GA4. The following are the most common causes of duplicate transactions: #1 The user refreshed the page while the transaction was still being processed, leading to another recording of the transaction upon successful completion. #2 The user used the back button to navigate back to the checkout page and then completed the transaction again, resulting in a duplicate entry. #3 The transaction was erroneously recorded twice due to a tracking code error or other technical issues. #4 The order confirmation page (receipt page) can be loaded more than once by the same user without placing any new order. The ecommerce data is resent to the GA server with each new page load. Duplicate transactions are bad because they can inflate revenue and transaction counts. #2 [How to export GA4 data to Google Sheets for_free](. There are two methods to export GA4 data to Google Sheets for_free: Method #1: Download the data into Google Sheets from the GA4 reporting interface. Method #2: Use a free Google Sheets add-on to export GA4 data to Google Sheets. #3 [How to backup Universal Analytics data to BigQuery](.
