------=_Part_60454141_1278056754.1691676021700 Content-Type: text/html;charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Dear {NAME},  Recently, our partners in Cameroon shared this beautiful story about a mother of six and her Bible—and we’re still so moved every time we read her words. Where Rukayyatu lives in the country’s Far North region, attacks against Christians are so violent and frequent that some families leave their homes at night to sleep in the forest.  That’s why Rukayyatu cherished and clung to her Bible. She understands the power of God’s Word in her life. “When I am in trouble and feel discouraged, I hold my Bible to my chest, and I have peace,” she says. But when the extremist group Boko Haram attacked her village, Rukayyatu lost everything—her home, her fields and her Bible. “The Word of God is the source of my hope and strength,” she says. “Boko Haram took my happiness away when they burnt my Bible.” But praise God! Rukayyatu’s story doesn’t end there. [Read Rukayyatu’s story]( In a very real sense, you stepped into Rukayyatu’s life and restored her strength. Because of your support for our persecuted family, Open Doors local partners were able to bring our sister a new Bible and other living essentials. We can’t wait for you to read this story and watch the video of what happened when the Word of God was once again placed in her hands. Rukayyatu shows us the power of the Bible in violent places like north Cameroon—as well as in our own lives. “The past year without a Bible has been empty, now I am filled,” she says. Thank you for bringing God’s Word to our persecuted family.  In Christ,  Open Doors US Team  For more information about Open Doors U.S., visit [www.opendoorsus.org](  “Open Doors US is part of the global ministry of Open Doors, mobilizing prayer, support and advocacy in 22 countries and supporting Christians in the 70 countries where they face the greatest cost for their faith.
