Keepin' cool, matching pool towels and partying with Barbie... [Everything's better On the Beach]( All the best bits and (holi)bobs in your inbox on Thursdays. [The Extra Scoop - Gettin' jolly with it]( [The Extra Scoop - Gettin' jolly with it]( We’re feeling the love right now because there’s been a boom in couples’ holiday bookings already this month. I’m not sure if this is thanks to Love Island being on, but no matter what, it seems people are seeking the ol’ butterflies in the stomach feeling (and not the one where you’re about to fly down a waterslide, either). This week, we’re shouting about our new merch shop, The Holiday Kiosk, where you can grab matching towels that help you reserve a sunbed and a Lilo repair kit for when your partner inevitably bursts it when trying to jump on it after an afternoon Sex on the Beach (the cocktail; we’re not interested in what you get up to in your spare time...). This week’s edition of The Extra Scoop is a bumper one, filled with the chance for romance, from long-haul spots to our struggles with being sent so many copies of Prince Harry’s new book… [Your secret admirer] [Our coolest holidays... (literally)]( [Our coolest holidays... (literally)]( There are some soaring temperatures across Europe right now, and whilst we beachers like it hot, we don’t need to be able to fry an egg on the balcony table. Luckily, there’s still a load of places that are seeing more manageable numbers. Places like the Algarve in Portugal or Sunny Beach in Bulgaria are seeing more comfortable temperatures and are still offering up sun, sun and even more sun. [Keep it cool(er) >]( [Keep it cool(er) >]( [Roll up, roll up, towels for sale]( [Roll up, roll up, towels for sale]( We’ve ventured into merch, as we know you love all things OTB. Joking aside, the team has been working tirelessly (I’ve been told a million times not to exaggerate) to bring you a one-stop shop for all your holibob needs. Grab yourself a towel made entirely for reserving those sunbeds in the morning before breakfast, or just cop yourself a new pair of flip-flops, even if they are only used to move from lounger to bar ‘cause the tiled floor is red-hot. That means you can avoid that funny walk you’d have to do, too, and wearing them will stop your partner from filming it and whacking it on their Instagram story. Embarrassment saved, all while looking the bee’s knees, too. [Open for business >]( [Open for business >]( [No kids allowed!!]( [No kids allowed!!]( Yep, that’s right. Adult-only hotels mean no screaming kids, no rogue balls knocking your beer over, and definitely no kids’ clubs. I’m sorting you right out here, no matter if you’re leaving the little cherubs at home with their grandparents or you’re just after a spot where there are none of them running about the shop. Relaxation and romance are front and centre here, so you can both tuck into your midday cocktails without the background noise of kids shouting at their siblings or morning tantrums when the breakfast doesn’t have chicken nuggets. I can’t promise your partner won’t throw a fit if they don’t have cakes, though. [Swipe right on adult-only >]( [Swipe right on adult-only >]( [Life in plastic is splash-tastic]( [Life in plastic is splash-tastic]( I was born to the song ‘Barbie Girl’. My dad just decided to not bother turning off the radio. But, at least I’ve got a little story to tell, I guess. As Ryan Gosling would say, I’ve clearly got a bit of the Ken vibe in me and my job is basically 'beach' too, just like him. This is why I’m super excited about the fact we’re on the hunt for a real-life Barbie and Ken, whose names are actually Barbie and Ken (not Barbara or something…) and are actually married, so we can give ‘em a FREE holiday to Barbados with a stay in the pretty and pink Southern Palms Beach Club. We’ve not found them yet and Vic, our Head of PR is proper gutted. “Where’s everyone’s KEN-ergy?!” she shouted at me from the other side of the office. A jolly to the paradise of Barbados with its superb beaches and year-round fantabulous weather is sitting there, waiting. All for free. Annoying the apparent Barbie fandom in my family stopped at the song and I wasn’t named Ken or I could have been on for a jollibob and had my moment in the spotlight… [Find your dreamhouse >]( [Find your dreamhouse >]( [We're in de-Spare!]( [We're in de-Spare!]( This is it, the pinnacle that every beach wants to be involved in. The Beach Super League is where countries fight it out to see who comes out on top for having the most Blue Flag-awarded beaches, which means beautiful waters for all your Insta pics and clean sands for you to sink your feet into. But don’t worry, there are no eye-watering expensive transfers, useless video assistant referees and dodgy financial dealings here. Just a straight-up league table that’s more fierce than the Premier League title race. Don’t worry, though - Man City can’t win this one… [Watch the video >]( [Watch the video >]( [Start your holiday search...] [Start your holiday search...] [Last-minute sun >]( [All inclusive >]( [Family >]( [Couples >]( [FREE 7-day gym or swim this way...]( [Everythings' better on the beach]( [Everythings' better on the beach]( [Everything’s better on the beach]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [YouTube]( [Download on the App Store]( [Get it on Google play]( Can't view the email correctly?
