Hack your holiday, get it all in the resort and go cheap in Tenerife [Everything's better On the Beach]( The Extra Scoop! Dropping in your inbox on Thursdays! [The Extra Scoop]( [The Extra Scoop]( World Book-it Day 2023 is here! It’s World Book Day this week. We like to call it World Book-it Day and tell you all to book a holiday and, as usual, take advantage of our Flexipay to make the deal even sweeter. You’ve probably already designed the kids’ outfits, so why not take some time for yourself and browse some holidays? I’m not telling you (or the kids) to stop reading. I’m just here trying to change a 25-year-long initiative to make it beachier. I mean, wouldn’t it be better if you smashed through that reading list whilst sitting on a beach? And wouldn’t it be even sweeter if you got a great value deal and paid monthly for it? I know it would. [Your secret admirer] [A Big High Five On Holiday Hacks]( [A Big High Five On Holiday Hacks]( I’m not sitting in a dark room with my hoodie on and four screens in front of me all filled with code. I’m sitting in the office with my third flat white of the day and a podcast in my ears wondering what on earth I’ll have for tea tonight. I’m thinking lasagne. Anyways, despite my lack of computer knowledge, I do know how to hack a holiday. Let me tell you… Before you book: Use [onthebeach.co.uk]( for the cheapest and best deals Pre-holibob hack #1: Tidy your house before you leave so when you get back from your jolly, it’s waiting for you all nice and clean Pre-holibob hack #2: Mark your suitcase as fragile because it’ll be handled with care and probably placed on top of the pile meaning first onto the carousel Whilst you’re there #1: Always head to the local shop and stock up on snacks to avoid mini-bar charges Whilst you’re there #2: Buy some (or all) of your toiletries whilst there to make space for more clothes [Hack your holiday >]( [Hack your holiday >]( [More Beach For Your Buck]( [More Beach For Your Buck]( I wish everything I needed was just there. A glass of water in the middle of the night. My pen when I need to write a number down. I can’t promise this hotel will bring you a glass of water for when you awake (there’s probably one in the mini bar anyways) but what I can tell you is that these hotels have everything you need to make the most of your jolly. I’m talking pools, spas, waterparks, food, and drinks. All. Sorts. Sorted. [Go all in >]( [Go all in >]( [Turkey is still open for business]( [Turkey is still open for business]( Here in the office, we’ve just been chatting about Turkey being back open for business. It’s such a beautiful country with loads to see and do, delicious food and AMAZING weather. We reckon that now, more than ever, they need us to pay them a visit, too. Come on, the Baklava is calling. [Book now >]( [Book now >]( [Young, fun and full of sun]( [Young, fun and full of sun]( I don’t mind a little bit of a boogie abroad. Cocktail in hand, giving it the old two-step. Like a dad at a disco. I’ve put those days behind me, though. Passing on the baton to the future. You lot. Las Piramides is hugely popular with the young and lively crowd. It’s located on the famous Veronicas Strip, after all. And add in the fact we’re a HUGE 29% cheaper than those lot at Tui for summer holidays to Las Piramides Resort* and you’re in a pretty good sitch. Get the passport sorted and the dancing shoes dusted off. So, we decided to wrap this one up with a big beachy bow so she could enjoy some downtime with the kids (and loads of sun) – on us. From lazy pool days to scouting out the best food at the buffet (spoiler: it’s pasta), here’s an inside look at what Helen got up to on her holibobs with the fam.
