What it means for you Hello there, The latest news In the latest travel update last night, the Government confirmed that most destinations will remain Amber, and that France changes from Amber Plus to Amber, with Dubai being moved to Amber from the Red list. What that means for holidaymakers - If you are double vaccinated you won’t have to quarantine when you return home, but you will need to arrange a test pre-departure, before your flight home and two days after you return home. - The latest update advises arrivals from Spain, and all its islands, to use a PCR test as their pre-departure test wherever possible; however, if this is not possible, a lateral flow test will be accepted. - The traffic light gradings will be reviewed in three weeks, but it is possible that these could change at short notice before then. Our advice to you We won’t be selling August departure dates, as we feel more comfortable only booking new holidays when testing companies and airports are really in their stride with the logistics of the new regulations. We think it’s better that any new holidays are booked for September onwards, when there has been a good few weeks of the new regulations in place. But I want a beach holiday! The Canaries are a great choice if you’re ready for a bit of autumn/winter sun, or even if you just fancy a bit of a daydream! Have a look at some of our customer favourites from these year-round sunshine islands. As ever, we thank you for your patience in a very stop-start year for holidaying, and myself and the team really can’t wait to get you back On the Beach soon. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
