But as much as I love it, the mosquitos can be terrible! Even with bug spray, sometimes a mosquito still sneaks through, leaving me with an itchy bite. So, I was thrilled to learn from your feedback that my essential oil blends, Complete Relief and Restore, can help with this problem. Originally crafted for headaches and joint pain, these blends also provide relief for itchy skin! Here's what two of you had to say: "I use Complete Relief on mosquito bites - instant relief. Even my grandsons think it's the best. Cuts itch immediately!"- JD Racey "My four-year-old daughter loves to be like mommy. She has severe skin allergies that flare up this time of year, her poor feet itch like crazy sometimes. I guess she saw me roll this oil on my knee and thought it would help her, too, though she didn't understand it was for pain, not itching! Ha! She used it without asking, and when I saw her do it, I was a little alarmed because most things break her out even worse or sting her. But I thought I would just not say anything and see what happened. Sure enough, it calmed the itch, never broke her out, and she never complained that it was stinging!!! After that, when she would itch, she would go for the Restore oil. I wasn't sure if it was a comfort thing or if it really helped. Until the day I had a carpenter ant bite me! Those bites will itch almost unbearably. I thought, well, let's just see…sure enough, it WORKS!" - Ashley K. It turns out that the same ingredients that provide relief for headaches and sore joints also work wonders for soothing itchy skin. Here's why these blends are so effective: Complete Relief: Contains anti-inflammatory and soothing ingredients like marjoram and spike lavender. Marjoram helps reduce inflammation and soothe irritated skin, while spike lavender is known for its calming properties and ability to reduce redness. These essential oils work together to quickly alleviate itchiness and provide a gentle warming sensation that distracts from the discomfort of itching. Restore: Includes powerful soothing and cooling agents like wintergreen and peppermint. Wintergreen contains methyl salicylate, which provides a cooling effect and reduces inflammation, while peppermint's menthol offers a soothing sensation that relieves itchiness. Additionally, the blend features blue tansy and blue chamomile, both of which have strong anti-inflammatory properties. These ingredients help to calm irritated skin and reduce redness. One of the things I love most about essential oils is their versatility. You never know when they might come in handy for an entirely different reason than you originally intended! If you've discovered any other unusual uses for my blends, I would love to hear about them! Please feel free to respond to this email and share your experiences.
