Fear and trauma from the events of January 6th, 2021 still permeate the Capitol and our country. This devastating attack rocked our nation’s foundation to its very core. We must hold those responsible for enabling and orchestrating this brutal attack accountable. Today, I’m praying for the brave officers who risked and lost their lives protecting the Capitol on that fateful day. I am in awe of their courage and strength. If it hadn’t been for the heroic work of our Capitol Police, we would have seen far more tragic consequences.
