Help NYPL provide books and educational support for kids and teens across the city. Dear Friend, The new school year is just around the corner. While the return to the classroom brings excitement and expectation, it’s never an easy time for students who lack educational resources and supplies. That's why it's an essential part of The New York Public Library's mission to address these gaps and provide free and vital educational resources for everyone. We're raising $50,000 to help kids across the city start strong with the support they need and deserve. Can we count on you to join us this new school year? Make your first-ever gift to the Library and help us reach our goal! [Donate and your dollars will do twice the work, thanks to our dollar-for-dollar match. You’ll also receive a limited-edition sticker as a sign of our appreciation >>]( [Donate $25—We Receive $50]( [Donate $50—We Receive $100]( [Donate $100—We Receive $200]( With the help of our supporters, we've been able to provide kids with a number of free books and resources to keep them engaged during summer break. We’ve distributed 500,000 free books at local branches through our Summer at the Library program. We’ve circulated STEAM Discovery Kits across the Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island, so that kids can explore robotics, astronomy, engineering, and coding and strengthen their scientific, creative, and collaborative thinking. And we've made sure these resources and more are available to all by honoring our commitment to remaining fine-free since we eliminated all existing late fines and fees from patron accounts in 2021. Will you support New York City students as they prepare for another year of reading and learning?
