[View in browser]( [Forward]( [The New York Public Library] [NYC Election 2021 Vote]( Today is New York City's primary election day, and polls have just opened! That means the time is now for New Yorkers to make their voices heard. This year's elections will shape the future of our city. More than 60 city government seats are on the ballot—including mayor, comptroller, borough presidents, and the entirety of the city council. Plus, a new Ranked Choice Voting system allows voters to rank up to five candidates in each primary race. With so much at stake, it's as important as ever to stay informed and cast your vote. Make sure your voice is heard—polls close at 9 PM tonight. The New York Public Library is here to help with finding your polling site, understanding Ranked Choice Voting, and more.
