[REGISTER HERE]( About Arne Svenson Arne Svenson is a world-renowned self-taught photographer with an educational and vocational background in special education. His photographs have been shown extensively in the US, Europe, and Asia. They are included in numerous public and private collections, including SFMOMA, Carnegie Museum of Art, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Norton Museum of Art. Svenson's work has been reviewed/profiled in the New York Times, Artforum, Art in America, and The New Yorker, among others. In 2016 he received the prestigious Nannen Prize in photojournalism for his project "The Neighbors." Svenson is the author/photographer of numerous books, including "Unspeaking Likeness," "The Neighbors," "Prisoners," and "Sock Monkeys" (200 out of 1,863). His most recent solo museum exhibitions were at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, CO, in 2016, and at Western Gallery + Public Art Collection, Western Washington University, WA, in 2017. "The Neighbors" series was most recently exhibited at Danziger Gallery, LA, 2023 and his project on children and gun death was featured at AIPAD 2023, by Robert Klein Gallery.
