I wanted to send you a quick note on why I’m excited about this opportunity. What we do right now is vital to the success of America. Because of a strong mother, a lot of hard work, and the grace of God, I had success in business. Then, 10 years ago I announced I was running for Governor of Florida. Since then I’ve won 4 statewide elections. All the races were close, and in the process, I’ve raised a lot of money, and spent a fortune of my own money. I can say this with confidence, I will never ask a potential donor to contribute more than I already have given. I run a tight ship and I respect our donors. I don’t waste money and I don’t lose elections. Some pundits and political talking heads are already saying – “it’s a difficult map” and “it’s gonna be hard to retake the Senate.” That’s a bunch of nonsense. We don’t have an option. We have to win, and together we will win.
