A tenth even fell asleep. [Learn the approach of parents there.]( U.S. National Archives, courtesy Les Kinney An old photo of a salvaged plane rekindles a mystery: Was Amelia Earhart rescued? A History Channel special enlists researchers and facial recognition experts to examine a newfound picture of what appears to be two Caucasians with a group of Japanese men on Jaluit Atoll in the Marshall Islands, where some believe the pioneering aviator and her navigator crash-landed in 1937. For our technology reporter Alina Selyukh, a special cookie can take her on a Proustian trip back to her childhood in southeast Russia. In this video she teaches you how to make oreshki, simple cookies filled with a rich mix of chopped nuts and dulce de leche-style thickened condensed milk.
