Jack Teixeira, a Massachusetts Air National Guard member, is due to appear in court today. His military service records indicate he was an IT specialist, which would have allowed him access to the records, according to NPR's cybersecurity correspondent Jenna McLaughlin.

Still, he [shouldn't have been able to access anything more]( than what he needed for his job. Gerstell calls the situation a "huge security failure" that will have to be investigated. This week, a federal appeals court ruled the drug mifepristone could be used up to seven weeks in pregnancy and couldn't be dispensed by mail. 🎧 Doctors say the legal battles have left their patients confused, angry and frustrated. On Up First, NPR’s Selena Simmons-Duffin says "lawyers are trying to make educated guesses" about how to advise clinics, but whether providers continue to provide the drug depends on [how much risk doctors are willing to take](.
