House Republicans want to l[everage must-pass legislation]( to raise the debt limit to extract federal spending cuts in some of the country's most popular social programs, but President Biden and congressional 🎧 [Democrats say]( they aren't interested in negotiating. New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she plans to step down next month.
