The 22-year-old suspect was taken into custody shortly after police arrived on the scene, and they're still trying to determine his motive. [Here's what we know so far](. ➡️ Police are investigating to determine whether the shooter can be charged with a hate crime. Here's [what that means]( under Colorado law. ➡️ The shooting occurred on the eve of Transgender Remembrance Day. It's the deadliest attack on LGBTQ people in the U.S. since the Pulse shooting in 2016, and LGBTQ advocates say its the latest tragedy in a [year that has felt particularly bleak](. ➡️ Authorities are praising two "heroic" patrons at the club, who they say [grabbed a gun from the shooter]( and hit him with it. As the war in Ukraine nears its nine-month mark, Western nations have accused Russia of a number of hostilities that threaten the welfare of millions. But in Russia, a "[golden billions]( counternarrative is gaining traction. The conspiracy theory claims global elites plot to hoard the world's wealth and resources, leaving the rest of the planet to starve. How big is a ronnagram? Almost unfathomably large.
