Here's what we're following today. 🥇 First up [Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell attends a meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee in Washington, DC, on Oct. 14. Powell is expected to announce another interest rate hike on Wednesday.]( Jim Watson/AFP via Getty Images The Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates by another 0.75 percentage points today. The organization has already raised rates by 3% since March, but [it's done little]( to curb inflation so far. It has, however, affected the housing market, and many are wondering what comes next. A new law goes into effect today in New York that would require employers to include salary ranges on job listings. A minimum and maximum range must be posted, and [vague language]( isn't allowed. The law is meant to make pay more equitable, but employers say it's a bad time to enforce it because it's been difficult to find workers. ➡️ We want your opinions on salary transparency.
