The actual number [could be much higher.]( Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has been in the hospital for an infection since last Friday, but is expected to be released within the next few days. The 73-year-old, [one of the conservative stalwarts]( on the high court, will miss oral arguments this week. A Boeing 737 plane operated by China Eastern Airlines has crashed with 132 people on board. Authorities have not determined the number of casualties or a cause for the crash, but it [could be one of China's worst aviation disasters]( in two decades. Almost 1 in 5 U.S. students attended schools in districts that were affected by federally declared natural disasters from 2017 through 2019. But many aging school buildings were [not built to withstand these natural disasters,]( which are becoming more common due to climate change.
