Support the podcast & get perks! [View this email online]( [Pop Culture Happy Hour]( Hello there! If you’re interested in making your happy hours even happier, consider supporting us with a subscription to [Pop Culture Happy Hour+](. We keep things pretty relaxed on PCHH, but behind those conversations is lots of work: figuring out what to cover, finding new and interesting voices to add to our table, managing their recording setups from closets to kitchens, then recording and editing our episodes, producing them so they sound their best, and getting them to you reliably every weekday. All that is done by folks who work for NPR, so support from our listeners is a key part of making the show possible. It lets us bring you more topics, more voices, and more chances for you to contribute your thoughts (we will never forget your enthusiasm in ranking the Muppets). For just $2.99/month (or $29.99/year), subscribing is a great way to contribute to the podcast directly and even gets you access to our sponsor-free feed. [Learn more here](. It’s not an exaggeration to say it would make us happy this week if you subscribed! -- Linda [Subscribe now!]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Newsletter continues after sponsor message --------------------------------------------------------------- [Subscribe to Pop Culture Happy Hour+](. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
